Xinjiang puts on performances to celebrate New Year

The Liangfan center, in the county of Huocheng, in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region held an art performance on Jan 1st to celebrate the New Year, with its vice Party secretary Feng Jianhua on hand to address the gathering. Feng expressed the appreciation towards the public for supporting the government, and wished the people a happy New Year.

The wonderful performances brought great fun to the audience, especially when many shows were performed by the villagers. Some audiences said that such cultural activity provided opportunity for the villagers to play on the stage and express their views towards society, and they were looking to watching more such shows and participate in more activities like this in the future.
