Princess Cruises is affiliated with the Carnival Corp, the world’s largest cruise ship operator, introduced a new brand to China, as the Global Travel Master, earlier this year, to provide an international premium cruise and vacation experience.
The Golden Princess is 950 feet long, with a displacement of 108,865 tons, and a capacity of 2,600 passengers, and has 17 decks and 33 deluxe rooms. Half of the cabins have a private balcony. The liner is equipped with swimming pools, fitness centers, spas, net bars, art galleries, a golf course and other facilities.
As the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei consolidated region develops and work on the China-ROK Free Trade Zone progresses, Tianjin’s cruise economy is expected to see a boom. In the January - May period of this year, Tianjin’s International Cruise Port received luxury cruise ships, for a 220-percent increase over the same period last year, and handled at least 106,000,tourists, up 260 percent, both of them setting records.
