Tai'an is a prefecture-level city in East China's Shandong province. It borders the provincial capital of Jinan to the north, Zibo to the east, and Jining to the southeast, and covers an area of 7,761 square kilometers.

The picturesque city, situated at the foot of the legendary Mount Tai, is one of the country's most renowned cultural and historic cities.

Over the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the people of Tai'an have made pioneering efforts to develop and transform the city.
