Feicheng industrial zone gains provincial approval

The Feicheng provincial agricultural high-tech industrial development zone in Tai'an Shandong province was approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government on July 15.

With a planned area of 6.71 square kilometers, the park reaches Chaowen Road in the east, Jingyi Road in the west, Longshan Middle Road in the south and Wangjiafang village in the north.

The zone will promote the regional reform and high-quality development in the agricultural industry.

Officials said that local government aims to develop it into a pilot zone focusing on agricultural technological innovation, result transformation and agricultural high-tech industries.

Based on its rich peach resources, the zone will cultivate the peach industry in Feicheng. With industrial characteristics, it will gather sci-tech innovation resources including talents, industrial platforms, and capital from home and abroad and integrate modern service resources.

The zone will make efforts to become a provincial agricultural high-tech industrial development zone with distinctive regional features, unique idyllic scenery, leisure experience and healthcare.
