Cangma Mountain International Holiday Resort in the Qingdao West Coast New Area released its expansion plan on Jan 26.

According to the plan, the resort will build a spa town, agricultural modernization demonstration park, health valley, nursing community and wildlife zoo, with a total investment of 13.6 billion yuan ($2.1 billion).

As a comprehensive eco and rural tourism project, the resort has opened various facilities including a ski field, horse racing course, folk town, forest park, botanic garden and camp site since 2015, said Lv Yuan, its manager for investment attraction.

Apart from the expansion plan, the resort also announced its holding a temple fair during the upcoming Spring Festival from Feb 8 to 22.
