Yunnan Week is scheduled to kick off on July 3 at the International Horticultural Exposition 2014 Qingdao.

The opening ceremony will be held at Yunnan Garden, and the performances will last from June 3 to July 8.

With the theme "Green Yunnan, Harmonious Homeland," the six-day Yunnan Week will invite art groups from Yunnan province to bring wonderful performances, including a hair-swinging dance by the Wa ethnic group, a peacock dance by the Dai ethnic group, a left-foot dance by the Yi ethnic group, and other colorful ethnic music and dance performances as well.

Li Xuhua, a male singer from the Drung ethnic group who was the winner of the 2012 China Red Song Show, will give a performance during Yunnan Week.
