Unveiling Ceremony of Jimo Office of Qingdao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is held in Jimo on Oct 18.

The Jimo Office of the Qingdao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau was unveiled in Jimo Economic Development Zone on October 18. It is the first local institute established in Qingdao by the bureau. Mayor Zheng Deyan and leaders of relevant units attended the unveiling ceremony.

Zheng Deyan said that there are over 800 foreign enterprises and 1,024 export enterprises in Jimo, which has been rated as a provincial advanced city of the international economy and trade. By the end of September, total foreign trade volume of Jimo has reached $3.28 billion, and received foreign investments of $460 million,  according to QingDaoNews.com. Jimo Office will promote integration of inspections, quarantine and customs and enterprises to compete in the international business community.

The Jimo Office intends to make it the model of inspection and quarantine system of Qingdao and Shandong.
