4th Session of 11th CPPCC Shenyang Committee concludes

Liu Yaqin, chairman of the Shenyang Municipal Committee CPPCC, addressed the closing ceremony. He spoke highly of representatives’ enthusiasm in discussing key issues raised by members of the public, and praised members for living up to the trust and responsibility endowed upon them by the local people.

Liu stated that: “as we have entered into the 12th five-year plan period, the CPPCC Shenyang Committee should also shoulder its social responsibilities to serve the people. It should take the safeguarding and improvement of people’s livelihood as the starting point and objective of its work. It should represent the aspirations and interests of people regardless of their parties, beliefs and nationalities, and reflect issues that are of greatest concern to them. In this way a combined effort can be made to promote the overall rejuvenation of Shenyang.”
