Jituhui high-speed rail goes into high gear

Being dubbed the most beautiful rail section in Jilin province, the Jituhui high-speed rail line begins operation on September 20, 2015. more>>

The Jilin-Tumen-Hunchun high-speed railway runs from the city of Jilin to the west to Hunchun in the east.

Construction work on it began in 2011 and the line was commissioned in June 2015, and went into operation on Sept 20. Along its 360-kilometer route it has 9 stations -- Jilin, Jiaohe West, Weihuling North, Dunhua, Dashitou South, Antu West, Yanji West, Tumen North and Hunchun – as well as 115 bridges and 85 tunnels. In the early phase, it will run at a speed of 200 km/hr.
