Honesty Award – Jiang Shaozhong

In Feb 2015, Jiang Shaozhong, an electrician living in Nanfeng town, Zhangjiagang, found a wallet on his way home, inside which there was 9,600 yuan ($1,473) cash, an identity card, a citizen card and various bank cards. He immediately called the police and returned the wallet to its owner. He also refused any reward from the wallet owner.

Acceptance speech: Honesty is more important than money, and it (returning the wallet) is simply a little thing in life.
