Commerce chamber to promote economic exchange

The Shandong Chamber of Commerce opened a branch in Nantong, Jiangsu Province and conducted its first general meeting on Sept 9.

With improved business environment and fast growth in city's economy, Nantong has attracted many Shandong people to start their businesses in the city. Statistics reveal that over 100 Shandong companies, with businesses including textile, garment, warehousing, logistics, machinery, hardware, catering and entertainment, have opened their branches in Nantong.

The new branch now has over 200 members. But in future, it aims to attract more Shandong entrepreneurs to contribute to Nantong's economic undertaking. It will also help to promote economic and cultural exchanges between the two places.
