An exhibition of 52 photos depicting local communities in Nantong, Jiangsu province, is on display at the city’s culture center and is attracting many visitors.

Photographer Li Xiangdong, who is a worker at a local power grid company, focused his camera on ordinary people rather than celebrities. He has spent his leisure time and holidays since 2008 traveling around Nantong, especially its old towns, recording the sights and changes in the city.
