There are a total of 21 centenarians in the area. Most of them are healthy and live a happy life. Some of them are even capable of looking after themselves.

Nov 1 is this year’s second “Double Ninth Festival,” a traditional Chinese festival on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, where filial piety and respect for the elderly are recognized. According to the Chinese lunar calendar, this year is a leap year with two ninth lunar months.
