Nantong's City God Temple is a Taoist temple offering consecration to the City God and his subordinates. It is located at the junction of Haodong Road and Haobei Road.

In the main temple hall can be found the 3.2-meter high statue of the City God and the statues of his six generals. In the wealth hall there are also three wealth gods - Fan Li, Zhao Gongming, and Guan Yu. In the rear hall, the Goddess Matsu, KWAN-YIN, and the City Goddess are worshiped.

In the west and east rooms at the sides of the main halls, there are ten different Taoist areas. On the walls are Taoist classical scriptures inscribed in iron. In the west corridor, tourists can see the pictures of eighteen “honest and upright” officials such as Yan Ying of the Warring States Period and Lin Zexu of the Qing Dynasty, while in the east are stone tablets featuring Taoist mottos.
