Henan-born entrepreneurs in the city of Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently founded the Henan Chamber of Commerce in the city.
With the aim to serve the 200,000 Henan people in the city, the chamber will facilitate economic and cultural communication between Henan and Nantong, and make joint efforts to achieve further success.
According to statistics, there are more than 10,000 Henan enterprises in Nantong, with a total investment of over 5 billion yuan ($815 million). They engage in the fields of textile, construction, logistics and auto services.
Nantong, one of the first 14 coastal cities in the country to open up, is an ideal place to start a business. With the economic and social development of the city, it has attracted a large number of people from Henan to invest and do business in the last two decades.
