Henan Ruzhou Pengcheng Industrial Co held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Agriculture Ecology Park project on April 10.

Deng Yinxiu, deputy director of the standing committee of the Ruzhou municipal people's congress, and Zhang Jianqi, vice-mayor of Ruzhou municipality, attended the ceremony.

With an investment of 420 million yuan ($67.49 million), the project covers an area of 100 hectares, in which a pollution-free vegetable base and demonstration green breeding base will be built.

Upon its settlement, the annual output of the project will include 3,500 kg of organic vegetables, 10,000 pigs, and 5,000 sheep and cattle. Its output value is estimated to be 98.5 million yuan.

The project is going to be a demonstration for ecological circular agriculture development in the city of Ruzhou, Central China’s Henan province, and its surrounding areas.
