Ruzhou fights illegal sales schemes

The administration for industry and commerce of Ruzhou city, Central China’s Henan province,held a campaign throughout March to fight pyramid schemes and regulate direct selling.

The campaign promoted national policy and regulations surrounding pyramid schemes and direct selling, and publicized typical cases and the harm of pyramid schemes.

To date, the campaign’s organizer has hung more than 300 slogans and given out over 23,000 booklets in six topics. In addition, the city has applied such platforms as bus media and LED screens in shopping malls to display public service advertisements, totaling over 1,300 in total.

Meanwhile, the administration for industry & commerce of Ruzhou city also took advantage of International Day for Protecting Consumer Rights on March 15 to publicize information.
