Appointment and dismissal decision on Ruzhou's major officials

The four leading groups in Ruzhou, Central China’s Henan province – the municipal Party committee, municipal committee of the CPPCC, municipal government and municipal people’s congress – held a leaders’ meeting to deliver the Henan Provincial Party Committee’s appointment and dismissal decision on Ruzhou’s main officials on March 7.

According to the decision, Gao Jianjun – who formerly served as the deputy director of Xinmi municipal finance bureau; secretary of Yuanzhuang township Party committee; vice-mayor of the city of Xinzheng and a member of the standing committee of CPC Xinzheng municipal committee; a member of the standing committee of CPC Zhengzhou Guancheng Hui district committee and executive chief of the district; deputy secretary of Zhengzhou municipal land and resources bureau’s leading Party group and deputy director of the bureau; deputy secretary of Guangcheng district Party committee and chief of the district – was appointed as a member of the CPC Ruzhou municipal committee, a member of the standing committee of CPC Ruzhou municipal committee and secretary of the CPC Ruzhou municipal committee.

Li Quansheng was dismissed as the secretary of the CPC Ruzhou municipal committee, and a member of the standing committee of Ruzhou municipal Party committee but was then appointed as the deputy director of Henan Provincial Bureau of Letters and Calls, as well as a member of its leading Party group.

Ruzhou was under the direct management of Henan provincial government, together with nine other counties and county-level cities in Henan, from the first day of 2014. The Party committees of the ten counties and county-level cities directly report to the Provincial Party Committee.
