An investment promotion training course was carried out in the Party school of the Ruzhou municipal committee of the CPC on Dec 11 in Ruzhou city of Henan province.

A total of 103 officials responsible for investment promotion took part in the seven-day course.

At the opening address, Liu Peng, a member of the standing committee of the Ruzhou municipal Party committee, analyzed and summarized the new opportunities and challenges in Ruzhou’s development, following its promotion into a city directly under the provincial government.

The promotion will encourage the city’s development and require more investment, according to Liu. The objective of the training course is to improve the participation, sense of service, and level and quality of the investment promotion team. The team should be a solid foundation for the city’s investment promotion.

Liu urged the course trainees to strengthen their investment promotion skills and become more service-oriented.

Hu Hongxian, vice-mayor of Ruzhou, gave a thorough and detailed presentation of the city’s investment promotion using simple language.

The training course is a combination of theories and practices. On-site visits will also be arranged during the course.
