Ruzhou resident receives approval of 115 patents for utility models

Ruzhou resident Ma Yiming recently received approval for 32 patents for utility models . His total patents now number 115.

The 38-year-old is a famous inventor in the city who has dedicated himself to technology innovation in his spare time since 2007. At the end of October 31, 2011, he applied for patents for 72 utility models at the State Intellectual Property Office; all passed examinations last October. After that, he focused on technology innovation and applied for another 65 patents for utility models. Of those applications, 32 have passed examinations before May Day this year.

Ma says that he will set up a technology innovation association in the city to enhance contact with associations in other cities and provinces in China and help invention lovers like himself apply for patents more smoothly. They will also work together to apply innovation in practice and to make contributions to society’s technology advancement.
