The third joint conference on controlling illegal construction behavior and illegal land occupation behavior was held at the city government on the afternoon of March 1, making new arrangements to control illegal behavior. Attendees included: Ding Guohao, municipal standing committee and executive vice-mayor; Cui Xinfa, deputy director of the municipal people’s congress standing committee; Li Shengwei, county class cadre and deputy secretary of the Party; Zheng Xuyin, deputy county class cadre and municipal government Party member; and Li You, Ruzhou police commissioner and municipal government Party member.

Towns, streets and functional departments reported their progress and future plans at the conference. Ding Guohao said that departments at all levels should clarify situations and responsibilities. Towns and streets should build an atmosphere and make propaganda more targeted and effective by changing its content and form. More importance should be attached to working methods in order to smoothly solve problems in control. Functional departments should figure out their duties quickly and make their contributions to controlling illegal behavior.

Ding required towns, streets and functional departments to work actively to ensure actual results.
