The commercial and trade conference for the first half of the year was held in Ruzhou on April 13. Two trade activities were arranged.

During the conference, the government began the 2011 Henan-Hong Kong-Macau trade activity and 2011 Henan-Beijing-Tianjin economy and technology cooperation meeting. The agenda and other information were discussed as well.

The Vice Mayor Peng Qingwang highly praised the two activities and regarded them as the key issue to opening up and attracting investments. He stressed the resource advantages should be highlighted to improve the success rate of the cooperation project and priority should be given to local companies and the industry with high-technology.
