The fifth session of the sixth People's Political Consultative Conference, the political advisory body, has come to end in Ruzhou, a city in central China's Henan province.

The session approved the report delivered by Yang Huixing, the vice chairman of the advisory body, which examined the proposals put forward during the session. It also approved a political resolution of the session, along with the work report on the political consultative conference made by Li Sanjie, also the vice chairman of the advisory body.

Further approval was given to the work report summarizing the proposals solicited since the last session of the political advisory body.

Wan Ying, mayor of Ruzhou, said a range of opinions and suggestions had been received, which demonstrated the democratic and harmonious atmosphere of the session.
