Ruzhou opened its 37th session of the 6th Standing Committee of the People’s Congress on Dec 18 in the municipal government building.

Fan Zhanying, director of Ruzhou’s Standing Committee of People’s Congress, headed the meeting, and Wei Guozheng gave a speech about holding a by-election for deputies to the local 9th People’s Congress. The proposal and draft on suggestions from Ruzhou’s People’s Congress and views on supervision assigned by the directors’ meeting have been approved.

Fan Zhanying, Wei Guozheng, Zhang Jianqi, Cui Xinfa, Liu Xifang, Zhang Yeqi, Sun Guozheng and Zhang Jiangang, were presented as chief members of Ruzhou’s People’s Congress and Ruzhou’s People’s Political Consultative Conference at the session.
