The scenery movie of Pingdingshan, “City of Eagle: a picture attracts all”, has finished its aerial shooting and has now begun post-production. The movie will come out by the end of the year.

"City of Eagle: a picture attracts all” is directed by the famous 39-year-old Chinese director Lu Chuan, who is in charge of the shooting and production. The movie began on July 5 after careful preparation.

On Oct 28 and 29, Lu Chuan and his team revisited Pingdingshan to do the aerial shooting for most of the movie’s sites and places of interest. The whole movie is shot with film.

According to an official at the Municipal Tourism Administration, Lu Chuan and the whole team appreciated the scenery in Pingdingshan, and expressed their confidence in the movie. They have brought the material back to Beijing for post-production. By the end of the year, the unique attractions of the city Pingdingshan will be shared with a mass audience.

Lu Chuan is the director of “Ke Ke Xi Li” and “City of Life and Death.” He also directed the 2010 World Expo China Pavilion Theme Film. He represents a new generation of Chinese directors.
