After receiving tips from a beverage enterprise on July 19, police officers raided a food market near the warehouses the following morning and succeeded in catching a worker who was about to open a door to one of the warehouses.

Stocks of 4,500 boxes of fake beverages, many of which bore brand names like Coca-Cola, Wahaha and Jinmailang, were found in three warehouses.

The police also discovered large amounts of fake instant noodles there.

"These counterfeit products look highly genuine at first sight," a technician said.

Though all the beverages and foods have been confiscated in the raid, the city's largest crackdown on counterfeit goods this year, the owner of the warehouses hasn't been found, which means the intended market for the counterfeit goods and who produced them remained unclear.
