Gansu launched a training session aimed at helping university graduates start businesses at the Gansu Agricultural University on Nov 6.

Sponsored by Gansu Agricultural University and Gansu Hi-tech Entrepreneurship Service Center, the training session includes a themed lecture and guidance for individual projects.

Shi Gang, director of the Gansu Hi-tech Entrepreneurship Service Center, pointed out that the entrepreneurship training session can help encourage students to start their own businesses.

"As a service department for starting business, it’s our duty to further the communication with universities and promote education in entrepreneurship," said Shi.

Incubator Chuanshuo Cafe also supported the running of the training session. Li Guoliang, CEO of Incubator Chuanshuo Cafe, pointed out that he would spare no effort in supporting people starting their own businesses. The government of Gansu started supporting mass entrepreneurship and innovation in 2015. Since then, business incubation units and makers spaces have emerged, offering workspace and business advice to entrepreneurs.

As of April, more than 1,200 university teams had joined incubators in Gansu, each receiving an average investment of around 300,000 yuan ($45,000 ).
