Lanzhou fair generates 760b yuan contracts

A total of 1,435 contracts were inked during the 22nd Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair held in the Gansu capital from July 8 to 11. The investment added up to 760.76 billion yuan ($113.99 billion), an increase of 9.1 percent comparing with the previous event.

Among the signed agreements, 691 were service sector contracts, attracting 455.16 billion yuan, and accounting for 55 percent of total investment capital.

There were also 13 cultural and tourism projects signed worth 14.52 billion yuan, 10.31 percent of total contracts.

More than 1,200 domestic and overseas enterprises took part in the Lanzhou fair this year, displaying thousands of products, such as mechanical equipment, electronic appliances, medicine and food.

More than 360,000 visitors attended the Lanzhou Fair, which this year had a gross turnover reaching 1.04 billion yuan, orders worth 709 million yuan and 329 million yuan in product sales on site.
