Departure interval for Lanzhou water bus cut

Updated: 2016-04-05
By Li Xiaoxu ( chinadaily.com.cn )

The schedule of the Lanzhou water buses was adjusted from April 1, with the departure interval shortened from every 30 minutes to 20 minutes, the Lanzhou Water Bus Co announced.

The ticket price remains the same as before – three yuan ($0.46) per person. The company also added two buses to meet passenger demand.

Lanzhou, capital of Northwest China's Gansu province, launched water buses in 2014. There are so far four routes operated by the company.

Citizens and tourists traveling by water bus experience a diversity of scenery along the Yellow River.
