Global producers discuss documentary development in NW China

At the 4th Jiayuguan International Short Film Festival, in the city of Jiayuguan, Gansu province, on Oct 16, experts came from all over the world to give their views on documentaries at various forums.

The forums focused on the subjects such as "documentary +∞", meaning documentaries for new media, or for animation and tourism.

Chinese and foreign directors shared their stories and opinions at the forums and there was a "South Korean Day" promotion for the first time, introducing South Korean documentaries and producers.

Taking place at the same time was the 21st China TV Documentary Top 10 Awards Ceremony, the country's most influential documentary event hosted by the China Television Artists Association.
