Follow-up visits ensure zero-distance power services for enterprises
Staff members from State Grid Anyang Power Supply Company visited Yuwen Agricultural Products in Neihuang county in Anyang, Henan province, on July 21 to conduct a high-temperature electricity follow-up for a newly connected business expansion customer.
During the visit, they said that after carrying out infrared thermography and voltage-current monitoring of all dedicated transformers and distribution cabinets, the highest temperature on Phase B was 72 C and the power supply quality met load requirements. They advised the company to closely monitor equipment operating conditions during the recent heatwave.
Yuwen Agricultural Products is a local agricultural processing firm specializing in drying and storage. It completed its expansion application and received its power connection in June 2026.
Since summer began, Neihuang county has faced extreme heat combined with heavy rainfall, posing serious challenges to agricultural drying and storage. The company's business expansion service team conducted the follow-up visit in an effort to serve as a dedicated power partner and ensure safe operations for agricultural deep-processing businesses.
During the visit, the team verified each item against the customized power supply plan, reviewed the company's electricity usage since commissioning, and guided the manager to check periodic consumption trends and energy efficiency analysis on-site via the "State Grid Online" App.
They also offered tailored recommendations for same electricity use in summer conditions. Using infrared thermal imagers, they comprehensively monitored the temperature of the dedicated transformer, distribution cabinets, cable joints, and other facilities, and carefully inspected cooling fan operations to ensure full-load performance without stress during hot weather.
To guarantee reliable power supply for key enterprises during the summer peak, State Grid Anyang has rolled out a comprehensive assurance package.
On the service front, it employs a one-on-one liaison mechanism through government-enterprise collaboration, engaging in advance to coordinate production schedules and capacity expansion needs and delivering customized solutions.
Through normalized protection services, professional technical teams conduct special high-temperature patrols.
Meanwhile, the company precisely assesses electricity demand, pre-positions emergency resources, and deploys standby generator trucks, enabling millisecond-level switching during unexpected outages to ensure the stability of production lines. These multi-dimensional efforts help enterprises to safely navigate summer.
Looking ahead, State Grid Anyang will continue to focus on enterprise electricity demand amid high temperatures, roll out targeted service initiatives, and provide robust power support for the healthy development of local businesses.
