State Grid Xuzhou: Ensuring reliable power supply during summer peak
Since the onset of summer this year, temperatures have continued to climb. To ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid amid high temperatures and heavy summer loads, State Grid Xuzhou Power Supply Co (State Grid Xuzhou) has planned ahead and made thorough arrangements. With the goals of rapid response and robust support, the company provides solid backing for the grid's safe summer operation and a reliable power supply for customers.
Since June 15, the company's data collection operation teams have fully implemented a 24-hour on-duty system with dedicated personnel. Utilizing the technological advantages of power grid big data, the power user electric energy data acquisition system and the new load management system, the company conducts real-time monitoring of electricity consumption data from enterprises and households, and has solved over 200 data-related problems. Meanwhile, for emergency situations, a "green channel" for load management has been opened to prioritize the deployment of repair vehicles, materials, and personnel, fully enhancing emergency response efficiency.
In addition, State Grid Xuzhou has launched a special summer peak hazard inspection and remediation campaign in advance. Addressing the high temperatures, high humidity, and frequent thunderstorms of the summer season, the company has carried out inspections and maintenance of data acquisition terminals for key users, including major municipal enterprises, government agencies, hospitals, shopping malls, and schools.
The inspections focused on waterproofing, moisture resistance, heat dissipation, and the operational status of outdoor equipment. The company has urged users to promptly rectify equipment defects and updated on-site equipment parameters in the system, addressing over 60 hidden hazards to ensure accurate and error-free data monitoring.
State Grid Xuzhou will continue to maintain its on-duty operations, delivering precise data and efficient services to ensure reliable power in the peak summer period.
