Provincial key laboratory's power distribution station energized in Shaoxing
The power distribution station for Tianmu Laboratory was officially put into operation on the evening of May 7, after the operator informed the the dispatch center pf Xinchang county that equipment testing had been successfully completed.
The station was built with strong support from the integrated energy service center of State Grid Xinchang County Power Supply Company. Its successful commissioning ensures ample electricity for the laboratory's future research and highlights the company's expertise in customer-side power transformation and distribution trusteeship services.
Tianmu Laboratory is a provincial-level research institution jointly established by Shaoxing's Xinchang county and Zhejiang University, and it is the nation's first innovation consortium of its kind formed by a county-level region with a university.
The laboratory focuses on intelligent manufacturing, advanced materials, and biomedicine, aiming to build a full-chain innovation ecosystem spanning fundamental research, industrial incubation and more.
The newly commissioned station features a dedicated full-cable 10kV dual-circuit main power supply equipped with automatic backup power switching and auto-recovery functions, ensuring high reliability to meet the strict stability requirements of scientific equipment.
During the energization process, the customer operation and maintenance team of the integrated energy service center was deeply involved in equipment acceptance, re-inspection, drafting standard operation orders, and switching operations.
Aligning with on-site conditions, the team formulated a startup plan in advance and optimized operational procedures and safety measures to ensure a safe, orderly, and efficient process.
Under the trusteeship agreement, the center will fully handle pre-commissioning risk assessments, professional equipment inspections, switching operations, and anomaly handling for the customer's equipment.
