The drills tested power supply systems, equipment switching performance, and emergency response capabilities at exam sites.
To avoid disrupting campus teaching, the drills were scheduled during the lunch break on the weekend. The drills covered sudden risks such as extreme weather and external damage, including single-circuit power failure, dual-circuit power failure, and failure of school backup power sources.
During the drills, each power security team followed standard procedure, performing start-up and switchover operations on equipment like 10kV automatic bus transfer devices and low-voltage automatic transfer switch cabinets.
They used dual power source mutual backup, backup generators, and mobile power vehicles to restore power quickly, ensuring stable operation of lighting, English listening broadcast systems, and video surveillance.
After the drills, participating units reviewed the procedures, identified weaknesses, and discussed improvements.
The logistics director of Fuyang No 10 Middle School praised the power supply company for its thorough hazard inspections, equipment debugging, and practical drills, saying that the company had resolved all weak points in the campus electricity system and built a comprehensive safety defense for gaokao, giving the school confidence and reassuring parents and students.
Ahead of the gaokao, Fuyang Power Supply Company has made detailed plans and proactively coordinated with local education authorities and exam sites, establishing a routine government-enterprise-school communication mechanism.
Since mid-May, professional inspection teams have conducted multiple rounds of comprehensive hazard checks at all exam sites, using tools like infrared thermometers and clamp ammeters to inspect transformers, distribution cabinets, UPS power supplies, and power lines.

Problems found were corrected on-site with school guidance. At the same time, staff performed high-frequency patrols and live detection on surrounding power lines and distribution areas.
Xu Hongfei, head of the Operation and Inspection Department of the Urban-Rural Company under State Grid Fuyang, said that to fully support the 2026 gaokao power security work, the company had carried out deployment, inspection, and training tasks in advance, completing multiple rounds of equipment patrols, hazard rectification, full-load tests, and multi-scenario emergency drills at all exam sites, specifically addressing weaknesses in campus power supply.
Through normal government-enterprise-school collaboration, the company has refined its "one site, one plan" measures, optimized grid operations, prepared emergency materials and equipment, established specialized teams, and improved response plans.

During gaokao, all planned maintenance on exam-related lines will be suspended, and a rapid fault response mechanism will be put in place.
Currently, all power hazards at exam sites in Fuyang's three districts have been cleared, and all preparatory work is complete.
The company will continue regular patrols, real-time load monitoring, and refined measures to ensure power security for gaokao.
