Shizuishan introduces "one certificate per community" to simplify charging pile installation

A new service model in Shizuishan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, is making it easier for residents to install charging piles for new energy vehicles.

State Grid Shizuishan Power Supply Company has partnered with Qinghuayuan community in Dawukou district to launch a "one certificate per community" initiative, streamlining the application process and eliminating the need for residents to obtain individual approvals from property management.

A resident of Qinghuayuan community noted that the previous process was cumbersome, requiring multiple trips to the property office to secure installation approval, often leading to delays due to scheduling conflicts.

The new system addresses these challenges by having the property management issue a unified approval certificate for all residents in the community. State Grid then waives the requirement for individual property certificates for communities covered by the agreement.

The cooperation agreement, reached after joint assessments of power capacity, parking conditions, and safety risks, clearly defines the responsibilities of the power company, the property service, and the residents. This includes aspects such as construction management, safety protocols, and facility maintenance.

Under the simplified process, residents now only need to provide a valid ID, proof of vehicle purchase, and documentation of a fixed parking space. Applications can be submitted through the State Grid Online app or at local power supply business halls.

State Grid Shizuishan plans to evaluate the pilot program and extend this convenient service model to more communities in the future, supporting the region's green development goals.
