Ningyang county in Tai'an, Shandong province, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and diverse local specialties, beautifully set against a backdrop of scenic landscapes and historical sites.

Key attractions include the architectural elegance of the Wenmiao Temple with its ancient cypresses, Guanghe Park, and Yuwang Temple, home to the famed cypress. Nearby, the enduring Gangcheng Dam and Mingshi Bridge stand as testaments to ancient hydraulic engineering.

The region's Ningyang jujube is a nationally recognized geographical indication product, known for its plumpness and balanced flavor. This is complemented by high-quality ginger, known for its rich color and robust taste, and a variety of fresh, chemical-free vegetables cultivated through standardized farming. Additionally, the traditional Nanzhao Bean Starch Noodles is prized for its delicate texture and highlights the area's artisanal food heritage. (Edited by Li Weiwei)
