"Recent days have seen a significant drop in temperature, while windy weather has increased. When conducting inspections, be sure to carefully check every detail of the lines and make sure the inspection is thorough." On Dec 5, State Grid Anyang Power Supply Company arranged for its staff to conduct a special inspection of distribution lines in Tangyin County Industrial Agglomeration Area.

On that day, Tangyin county was hit by a new round of strong winds and temperature drops. To deal with the impact of the strong winter winds on the operation of the power grid, the company immediately activated the emergency response mechanism and took measures such as strengthening the operation and maintenance of key equipment, conducting special inspections of transmission and distribution transformer equipment, and ensuring power supply services to fully prepare for the strong winds and temperature drops.

The company conducted a comprehensive inspection of substations in its jurisdiction and strengthened manual and drone patrols on key heating lines. It strengthened inspections of substations, high and low voltage lines and transformer areas to ensure early detection and prompt handling of potential hazards. At the same time, the company arranged for substation managers of each power supply station to use grid WeChat groups to publicize precautions for safe electricity use during extreme weather to ensure safe and reliable electricity use for the public.

Next, the company will continue to strengthen the lean operation and maintenance of the lines, carefully analyze the changing trends of equipment operation status, grasp the line load situation, ensure the safe and stable operation of the lines, and keep the people warm during the winter.
