Weihai's west coast undergoes major revitalization to enhance visitor experience

Weihai's west coast is undergoing a major revitalization, combining coastal charm with modern amenities to enhance the visitor experience.

Leading the way is Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park, with a focus on cultural heritage and innovation. A top attraction is the new VR experience at Yandun Mountain music plaza, offering visitors an interactive way to explore Weihai's cultural landmarks through virtual reality.

To enhance visitor comfort, the park has introduced several infrastructure upgrades, including new service stations, restrooms, electric bike parking, and 1.9 kilometers of forest walking paths. Additionally, seating areas, guide maps, and waste bins have been added to improve the overall tourist experience.

Another exciting development is the newly opened coastal wooden plank road, connecting Torch Eighth Street to Xiaoshi Island. This scenic walkway links major attractions along the coastline, providing a unique way to enjoy the area's natural beauty.
