Weihai hosts industry-leading conference on printer, supply chains
The 2025 China Printer and Supply Chain Conference was held at Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park, drawing more than 600 experts and industry leaders. Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park has quickly become a key player in the global printer industry. The region is home to six Global Fortune 500 companies and more than 120 supporting enterprises, forming a robust ecosystem that spans laser, inkjet, and thermal printing technologies. This impressive concentration of industry leaders has earned Weihai the distinction of being a National New Industrialization Demonstration Base by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
At the conference, leading companies such as Shanghai M&G Stationery, Zhejiang Cangtian Intelligent Information Technology, and Hunan Biaotuo Electronics shared their insights on AI's impact on the printer industry, the shift toward domestic printer manufacturing, and strategies for adapting to evolving sales channels. These discussions offered fresh perspectives on the industry's ongoing transformation.
