Weihai hi-tech park companies recognized for innovation, quality in manufacturing

Two companies from Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park — Weihai Guangwei Composites and Weihai CreditFan Ventilator — have recently been included in the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology's list of excellence in manufacturing. 

The list identifies products that excel in energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, innovation, and high quality, while also bringing economic and social benefits to key industrial sectors. 

Guangwei Composites was noted for its carbon beams used in wind turbine blades. By using advanced tech and better production methods, the company has cut the weight and cost of wind blades, impacting the global wind energy industry. As a key supplier to global leaders like Vestas, Guangwei has boosted the wind energy supply chain and helped develop a leading carbon fiber composite cluster in Weihai.

Meanwhile, Weihai CreditFan Ventilator was acknowledged for its smart and light ventilation and dust removal systems used in high-speed trains. This system is a big tech step in China's rail sector, allowing for full localization of key parts. Leading the market for three years in a row, CreditFan's success has solidified China's position at the front of the global rail transport industry.

Both Guangwei Composites and CreditFan Ventilator show the innovative spirit of Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park. With a focus on cutting-edge tech, sustainability, and efficient manufacturing, these companies are setting industry standards.
