Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park is reshaping its educational landscape with a significant investment in digital infrastructure. The park has launched an initiative to upgrade the region's education system, focusing on network improvements and the renewal of key facilities.

A major initiative is the installation of AI-powered classroom analysis systems, which help teachers evaluate student engagement and optimize teaching methods. This system provides real-time data on class participation, allowing for immediate adjustments and improved learning outcomes. For instance, at Shendaokou Middle School, teachers now use AI to analyze student behavior, enabling more targeted lesson planning.

Weihai has revamped science laboratories at several schools. At Shandong Experimental High School, students now use advanced microscopes and interactive smart boards, offering a hands-on, visual approach to learning. This not only improves students' understanding of complex concepts but also increases overall classroom efficiency.

The upgrade also includes the renovation of outdated laboratories and the introduction of digital inquiry-based tools, providing teachers with improved resources for conducting experiments. Teachers have received training to use these new tools, ensuring a smooth transition to a more digital approach to education.

Through these initiatives, Weihai is paving the way for a new era of smart education, combining traditional learning with technology to create a more advanced, future-ready education system. (Edited by Hu Kaili)
