Weihai hi-tech park pioneers digital revolution in government services
Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park's digital innovation is setting a new standard for government services. The park's Administrative Approval Service Bureau has introduced cutting-edge technology and creative service models to streamline processes and improve accessibility for citizens and businesses.
A key initiative is the development of a visual approval system using VR technology, which transforms complex regulations into clear, easy-to-understand visual guides. Complementing this, Party members have created 32 scenario plays that further simplify procedural steps, making public services more intuitive and accessible to everyone.
To ensure the effective implementation and success of these digital advancements, the Party branch has established a network-based responsibility system. This system aligns Party member duties directly with digital service improvements: members manage designated zones, assist with industrial projects, and provide comprehensive one-stop support for market entities. These dedicated teams have assisted over 120 key projects, resolving 80 major issues and delivering over 500 support services.
The results highlight the success of this digital transformation. The government service center of the park has served over 195,000 people this year, maintaining a satisfaction rate of 99.9 percent. Through these ongoing digital advancements, the park is actively reshaping how government services are delivered, establishing a new benchmark for future administrative efficiency.
