Jiaozuo, historically known as Huaiqing Prefecture, boasts a mild climate and unique soil that nurtures the highly medicinal "Four Major Huai Herbs" — Chinese yam, rehmannia, achyranthes, and chrysanthemum. In recent years, local enterprises engaged in processing, production, and sales of these herbs have flourished. Stable electricity supply has fortified the entire industrial chain, integrating cultivation, processing, sales, research, and cultural tourism, thereby driving sustained growth.

With the arrival of Frost's Descent, the 18th solar term, the production and processing of these herbs will peak. To ensure operational reliability, companies have begun preemptive inspections of production lines. During their visits, power service personnel helped examine electrical equipment in key areas such as workshops, cold storage, and distribution rooms, offering scientific guidance for upcoming production cycles.

To further support the industry, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Co conducts regular enterprise visits aligned with agricultural seasons and production schedules. Technicians provide one-on-one consultations and tailor power supply plans for processors and distributors. A 24/7 emergency response mechanism is in place, with strengthened shifts, trained rapid-response teams, and sufficient spare parts to swiftly address power failures. Simultaneously, safety initiatives — including WeChat group alerts, onsite distribution of educational materials, and face-to-face guidance — enhance enterprises' self-management capabilities, ensuring secure and reliable power for the high-quality development of the Huaiyao industry.
