State Grid Zhenjiang Power Supply Company puts oil-chemical laboratory into operation
The Danyang Oil-Chemical Laboratory of State Grid Zhenjiang Power Supply Company was recently completed and put into operation, marking a critical step forward for the company in its efforts to refine the operation and maintenance of the power grid.
The core function of the oil-chemical laboratory is to conduct oil-chemical analysis on oil-filled equipment in substations, such as transformers and instrument transformers. By accurately analyzing key indicators such as the composition and concentration of dissolved gases in the oil, it becomes possible to promptly and precisely track changes in the quality of insulating oil and identify potential internal issues like overheating, discharge, or insulation moisture. This enables real-time monitoring and in-depth diagnosis of the operational status of oil-filled equipment, shifting the focus from "post-failure repairs" to "preemptive warnings". As a result, unexpected power outages caused by equipment failures can be effectively avoided.
The newly operational oil-chemical laboratory is equipped with high-precision analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs and automated sample processing devices. These advancements significantly improve sample processing efficiency and the accuracy of data analysis, providing robust technical support for laboratory personnel. In the future, the oil-chemical laboratory will serve as a key technical stronghold for ensuring the stable operation of the power grid, continuously offering a scientific basis for equipment condition assessment, fault diagnosis, and maintenance decision-making.
