Weihai hi-tech park launches 2025 Football Super League

Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park has started its 2025 Football Super League, bringing together more than 300 athletes for two months of intense competition. The league aims to display local football talent and create a strong, recognizable sports brand for the region.

Organized by the park's football association, the round-robin tournament has nine rounds and 36 matches, ensuring action-packed games throughout the season. Teams compete for top honors, while individual awards recognize standout performers as Best Player, Top Scorer, and Best Goalkeeper. Generous cash prizes further inspire excellence, encouraging healthy competition and team spirit.

Zhu Hongtao, chairman of the football association and general manager of Dishang Group, highlighted the league's broader vision: "Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park already has a solid football foundation. On this basis, we aim to advance the sport, standardize tournaments, and raise overall football standards, building a recognized football brand for the area."

As the league's first participating team and a key sponsor, Dishang Group has a strong record of supporting local sports.
