To meet the electricity needs of Xuzhou's textiles manufacturers and ensure safe and stable production power supply, the Yangtun Power Supply Station of State Grid Xuzhou Power Supply Company recently took measures.

It organized a team of professionals to conduct a special visit to a local textiles company.

During the visit, the utility's staff checked the production lines of the companies on-site — conducting comprehensive inspections of the power distribution facilities, electrical circuits and the configuration of self-contained emergency power sources.

They identified six potential safety hazards and provided on-site suggestions for rectification.

Additionally, they distributed safety manuals to workshop employees, emphasizing practical know-how including preventing dust-related electric shocks and avoiding electrical fires.

Furthermore, the company held in-depth discussions with the management team of the enterprises to gain detailed insights into their expansion plans, increased equipment capacity and specific requirements for their quality power supply.

Manager Wang of Xinjia Textile said that the initiative taken by the power supply company to conduct an on-site visit helped identify potential electrical hazards and enhanced the security of production power usage.

Through the visit, State Grid Xuzhou Power Supply Company gained a precise understanding of the electricity consumption characteristics and potential needs of the textile enterprise.

This provided critical insights for subsequent efforts to optimize grid planning and develop targeted power supply assurance strategies. The initiative also boosted the communications channel between the power supply company and its customers — injecting strong momentum into the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of the local textiles industry.
