Binzhou ETDZ in Shandong raises safety awareness among public

Every June is National Work Safety Month in China. To welcome the 23rd National Work Safely Month, the Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (Binzhou ETDZ) in Shandong province held a work safety promotion event on June 16.

Through activities such as watching thematic promotional videos, explanations on electric bicycle fire hazards, and on-site consultations, the event extensively promoted safety laws and regulations to the public and increased safety awareness among the public.

During the event, all participants first watched the thematic promotional video "Smooth Life Channels", followed by exemplary speeches from the Dudian Street Office, the Housing and Water Affairs Bureau, Hongnuo New Materials, and the Binzhou Bus Station. The fire brigade explained and demonstrated electric bicycle fires.

At the event venue, there were designated areas such as a firefighting equipment display zone, a fire extinguisher usage experience zone, a safety education exhibition area, and an on-site consultation area.

The crowd at the event participated enthusiastically. Personnel from 17 units, including the street office, economic development bureau, commerce bureau, emergency management bureau, and housing and water affairs, distributed promotional materials and summer cooling items, provided explanations and safety tips, extensively promoted safety laws and regulations, disseminated knowledge related to safe production, addressed production safety issues of public concern, and distributed over 20,000 copies of promotional materials.
