At the site, tower cranes dominate the skyline, machines operate with a steady roar, and workers perform their tasks with meticulous precision. Covering an area of 205 mu (13.67 hectares) with a planned construction area of 300,000 square meters, the development is divided into three phases. Key components include an agricultural and sideline products trading center, an aquatic products distribution center, and a cold chain smart logistics park.
The first and second phases, already underway, focus on the agricultural and sideline products trading center. These phases are complemented by hotel apartments, logistics company headquarters, and an e-commerce complex. The third phase is poised to include a 30,000-sq-m cold storage, a 10,000-sq-m warehouse, and a 16,000-sq-m vegetable processing area to meet growing market demand.
"The completed project will significantly expand the trading area's capacity. Ten major business formats and over 1,000 product varieties will be distributed across four core trading zones, revolutionizing the agricultural and sideline products trade in Weifang," said Han Xinxin, general manager of a local business development company.
