Yantai in East China's Shandong province and Gunsan in South Korea, lie along the same latitude — 37°N. This endows both regions with natural beauty and historical significance. Thirty years ago, the two cities established a sister-city relationship, and for the past 22 years, they have engaged in ongoing photographic exchanges that highlight their cultural and scenic landscapes.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of this partnership, the 25th China-South Korea Photography Exchange Exhibition was recently held in Gunsan. The exhibition featured over 100 works by photographers from both cities, offering a comprehensive view of the evolving social landscapes and improving living standards in the regions.
Photographers from Longkou city in Yantai have been exploring Gunsan, capturing a multitude of stunning moments that reflect the city's scenic beauty and vibrant urban life. Their photographs, along with those of Gunsan photographers, serve as a testament to the enduring bond and cultural exchange between the two cities. (Edited by Hu Kaili)
