A tourist route map of Zhangjiawa sub-district, Laiwu district, Jinan, Shandong province has gone viral online recently.

Zhangjiawa sub-district is renowned for its strong industrial capabilities. In 2023, the total industrial output value of the sub-district reached 36.83 billion yuan ($5.08 billion), maintaining its leading position in the district.

In recent years, Zhangjiawa sub-district has been actively developing agriculture, particularly fruit farming. Leveraging its geographical advantages and resources, the area has increased agricultural efficiency and farmers' incomes, creating a unique agricultural brand and fostering the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism.

The nectarine picking festival in Cuiliangpo village recently attracted numerous tourists, and the orchard was bustling with activity as people picked and ate the fruit.

"I have been growing nectarines for 10 years. Because of the sandy soil, organic fertilizers, and mountain spring water for irrigation, our nectarines are exceptionally sweet," said farmer Cui Yanqing.

There are more than 30 households in the village like Cui's, all part of a professional cooperative that has improved the quality of their produce over the years.

Due to the village's proximity to the city, the beautiful and delicious nectarines attract many visitors during holidays.
